• wrench
• socket set
• oil filter wrench
• oil drain pan
• new oil filter

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Locate the oil drain plug and oil filter. The oil drain plug is typically located at the bottom of the engine, while the oil filter is located near the front of the engine.
3. Loosen the oil drain plug and allow the old oil to drain completely. Use the oil drain pan to catch the old oil.
4. Remove the oil drain plug and allow the old oil to drain completely.
5. Replace the oil drain plug.
6. Tighten the oil drain plug to the specified torque.
7. Replace the oil filter.
8. Tighten the oil filter to the specified torque.
9. Add new oil to the engine. Use the oil filler hole in the engine block to add the new oil.
10. Start the vehicle and check the oil level.
11. Add additional oil as needed until the oil level reaches the "full" mark on the dipstick.
